King William County Education: Which district had most students enrolled in schools in 2023-24 school year?

King William County Public Schools District had the highest enrollment among King William County districts, welcoming 2,106 students during the 2023-24 academic year, according to the Virginia Department of Education.

Of all the students welcomed in the 2023-24 school year, 51.1% of them were male, and 48.9% were female.

Data also showed that most of the studets were white, representing 75% of King William County Public Schools District's total enrollment.

Among the two districts in King William County, West Point Public Schools District ranked second in enrollment numbers with 840 students.

King William County Public Schools District generally encompasses schools within King William County with its main office in King William.

In the previous school year, King William County Public Schools District also had the highest number of students among King William County districts.

According to Public School Review, Virginia public schools saw an average student-to-teacher ratio of approximately 1:14 in the 2023-24 school year, which is better than the national average of 1:15 in public schools.
