There were 597 white students enrolled in West Point Public Schools District in the 2023-24 school year, 4.2% more than the previous year, according to the Virginia Department of Education.

Data showed that West Point Public Schools District welcomed 840 students during the 2023-24 school year. Among them, white students comprised 71.1% of the student body to be the most represented ethnicity in the school.

West Point Public Schools District roughly covers schools within King William County and has a main office in West Point.

Among the two schools in West Point Public Schools District, West Point Middle/High School recorded the highest enrollment of white students in the 2023-24 school year.

According to Public School Review, Virginia public schools have an average student-to-teacher ratio of 14:1, slightly better than the national average of 15:1. Minority students, primarily Hispanic and Black, make up 54% of the enrollment, while white students constitute 46%.
