There were 55 multiracial students enrolled in Mathews County Public Schools District in the 2023-24 school year, 3.8% more than the previous year, according to the Virginia Department of Education.

Data showed that Mathews County Public Schools District welcomed 841 students during the 2023-24 school year. Among them, multiracial students comprised 6.5% of the student body to be the third most represented ethnicity in the school.

Mathews County Public Schools District roughly covers schools within Mathews County and has a main office in Mathews.

Among the three schools in Mathews County Public Schools District, Mathews Elementary School recorded the highest enrollment of multiracial students in the 2023-24 school year.
