City of Radford issued the following announcement on Feb. 24
After careful assessment of recent weather conditions, we have made the decision to move this Saturday’s New River Polar Plunge® Festival from Bisset Park to the field adjacent to the Radford City Office at 20 Robertson St. At this location, plungers will have the opportunity to plunge into an icy above ground pool and enjoy the full New River Polar Plunge Festival!
The new location will protect all plungers, volunteers and spectators from the flooding and hazardous conditions at the New River while also enjoying an awesome Polar Plunge experience.
