American College of Radiology Association Pac recently issued the following announcement.

Medical Student Journal Club Neuroimaging Findings in Pediatric COVID-19

Date: Feb. 10, 2022

Time: 8–9pm

Cost: Free

Join the ACR® Medical Student Subcommittee for the first medical student-led Journal Club. Medical students will have the opportunity to critically analyze, evaluate and present medical literature pertaining to radiology. Students will also be introduced to trending research topics within radiology and the role of radiology research in a clinical context.

During this session, we will discuss COVID-19 pediatric neuroimaging findings.

With the guidance of a faculty mentor, student presenters will be asked to select a journal article on a trending topic, create a presentation and lead a discussion to evaluate the article’s hypothesis, study design, methods, results and clinical applications.

The journal club will be held virtually and include a 20–30 minute live presentation followed by a 30–minute question and answer discussion amongst the participants.
