COUNTY OF MIDDLESEX: 2021 VA AG Expo

Expo

County of Middlesex issued the following announcement on Jun. 18.

The VA AG Expo is an annual event and the largest agricultural field day held in the Commonwealth of Virginia. As an educational, marketing and social event, farmers and agribusiness look forward to the VA AG Expo each year. The VA AG Expo is held on a working farm each year and moves from one location to another to showcase the diversity of the different areas of the state. This event is sponsored by the Virginia Grain Producers Association and the Virginia Soybean Association, in cooperation with the Virginia Cooperative Extension Service. This year the event is set for Thursday August 5, 2021 at Corbin Hall Farm in Water View, VA. “Farming: A Foundation for the Future” is the theme for the 2021 VA AG Expo.

I would like to invite you to this year’s VA Ag Expo where more than 150 exhibitors and sponsors will be showcasing the latest equipment, technology, goods, and services. In considering the safety of exhibitors and guest we have made a few changes. There will be no large exhibit tent this year and we will enforce any guidelines still in place to protect our visitors and guest. There will be a variety of field demonstrations, a kid’s zone for our future farmers, and many opportunities to learn about what Virginia agriculture has to offer. Breakfast and lunch will be available from regional food vendors and there will be a wide array of food items.

Over the years there have been many outstanding people contributing to the success of the VA Ag Expo and with continued commitment of the two sponsoring associations the VA Ag Expo will continue to thrive for many years.  We would like to invite you to come and join our expo family. This event is free to the public and the gates will open at 7:30AM on Thursday August 5, 2021. If you have questions or need any more info feel free to contact me.
