Gas was priced at $2.98 per gallon.

The lowest price for a gallon of diesel gas in Essex County during the week ending May 2 was $5.35, according to customer reports to GasBuddy.
Drivers in Gloucester County reported a weekly low of $4.12 per gallon for midgrade gas in the week ending May 2.
Drivers in Charles City County reported a weekly low of $3.95 per gallon for regular gas in the week ending May 2.
