The Constitution of Virginia requires you to be registered in the Ward in which you live in order to vote.  For the convenience of the citizens of Waynesboro, the Voter Registration Office is open every day Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM at 250 S Wayne Avenue, Suite 205, Waynesboro, VA  22980.

In order to be eligible to vote in the Republican Primary Election to be held on June 21st, 2022, you must be registered no later than 5:00 PM Tuesday, May 31st, 2022.  Anyone wishing to vote in this election may do so.  The following office with the will be on the ballot:

Member House of Representatives 6th District

Early voting begins 45 days prior to each election.  May 6th, 2022 is the first day to vote early for this election.  Hours are 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM and 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM Monday through Friday/Also, for the convenience of the citizens, the Voter Registration Office will be open on Saturday, June 11th, 2022, and June 18th, 2022 from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM for the purpose of Absentee Voting.   June 18th, 2022, is the last day in which a voter may cast an absentee ballot in person.  Friday, June 10th, 2022 is the last day in which an absentee ballot can be mailed.  The Virginia Department of ELECT website is elections.virginia.gov for all your voter registration and absentee ballot application needs.

All citizens are encouraged to register.  Remember, “Always vote and be counted!”  Polls open at 6:00 AM and close at 7:00 PM for ALL elections.
