Personal property and real estate taxes in New Kent County are due by December 5, 2025. Residents who have not yet received their tax bill are encouraged to contact the Treasurer’s Office at 804-966-9615.

Tax payments can be made through several methods. Payments sent by mail must be postmarked by the deadline and addressed to the New Kent County Treasurer’s Office at PO Box 109, New Kent, VA 23124. In-person payments are accepted at the Treasurer’s Office located at 12007 Courthouse Circle, Room 208, New Kent, VA, Monday through Friday from 8:15 a.m. to 4:15 p.m. Credit card payments can be made by calling 1-888-892-0052 or visiting the county website.

Payments may also be made at Citizens & Farmers Bank branches in Quinton, Providence Forge, Norge, and West Point. However, changes cannot be made to bills at these locations and full payment is required.

The Treasurer’s Office noted that “real estate and personal property tax payments can be made at any time throughout the year.” Making pre-payments will reduce the amount due on December 5th. For more information or questions about tax payments, residents may call the Treasurer’s Office or email staff.
