Milling of the Municipal Building Parking Lot will occur on Sat, September 24th (Yellow) on the eastern side of the building.  Paving of the milled area, as well as the long-time gravel lot across the street (Green) will begin on Monday September 26th.  The work is being done by Southwest Virginia Paving, Inc.   The remaining areas will be surface sealed, the entire parking area(s) restriped and a crosswalk installed across second Avenue to enhance pedestrian safety.  The work is being coordinated with the departments in the building and all services will remain open during the project elements.

Interior upgrades are the second phase of the project and will begin in October.
