The lowest reported price for regular gas in Essex County was $2.89 per gallon during the week ending Jan. 31, available at three gas stations, according to customer reports submitted to GasBuddy.
The county registered an average of $2.92 per gallon for regular gas.
Of the 11 reported gas stations in cities within Essex County, four offered regular gas.
For comparison, the average price of regular gas in Virginia was $2.87 per gallon for the week ending Jan. 31, up from the previous week.
