0Comments

City of Buena Vista issued the following announcement on Oct. 19

Leaf collection in Buena Vista will begin on November 1, 2021. Leaves should be placed adjacent to the curb or pavement prior to 7 am on Monday of the scheduled week. If a weekly scheduled area is completed prior to the end of the week, leaves will be collected within other areas and return to the normal schedule on the following Monday. This schedule is tentative and subject to change due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances.

When raking loose leaves to the curb, please be careful not to include rocks, walnuts or large pieces of wood as this can cause equipment damage, injury and delays to the schedule. Leaf piles should not block streets, alleys, or sidewalks due to safety hazards. Leaves placed in alleys will not be collected unless they are bagged.

Week Of: Streets:
November 1st 1st – 7th
November 8th 8th – 14th
November 15th 15th – 21st
November 22nd 22nd – 26th
November 29th 27th – 34th
December 6th 35th – 41st

A final collection will be made throughout the entire city following the completion of the above schedule.
